Runs the whole cycle
Feeding, rotation and bending all run automatically—the operator's job shrinks to loading and unloading, which is exactly where the output difference comes from.

A 3-axis fully automatic pipe bending machine on PLC control—it feeds, rotates and bends by itself. You load the tube and press start, hands-free, without CNC prices.
"I want fully automatic bending but I don't need CNC—is there something in between?" Yes: the DuralBend Atlas BRF is a 3-axis fully automatic pipe bending machine that runs on PLC control instead of CNC software. It does feeding, rotation and bending all by itself—load the tube and press start.
Because it's PLC-based rather than CNC, the price point is significantly lower while still giving you hands-free production. For shops stepping up from semi-auto or manual machines, it's the most logical upgrade path.

Feeding and rotation are servo-driven for precise positioning; the PLC controls where every bend stops.
Same heavy frame, DDT transmission, hydraulic dies, mandrel and wiper die block—tooling is interchangeable across the whole Atlas family.
The PLC interface is straightforward; most operators pick it up in a day, with no CNC programming required.

The machine has three controlled axes—feeding, rotation and bending. Feeding and rotation are servo-driven for precise positioning; the bending axis runs on an AC motor with the PLC controlling where it stops. The AC motor provides the torque, the PLC controls the angle. Simple, reliable, and it works.
Once you program the sequence—feed length, rotation angle and bend angle for each step—the machine runs the entire cycle without operator input. It feeds to the first bend, bends, rotates to the next plane, feeds again and repeats until the part is done. Customers switching from semi-auto report a significant increase in output, especially on parts with four or more bends.
Full per-model data is in the Models & technical data section below.

Automatic doesn't mean CNC. On the Atlas BRF you program the bends manually—feed distance, rotation angle and bend angle per step, straight on the touchscreen. Faster to learn, cheaper to buy and maintain.
Feeding, rotation and bending, all coordinated by the PLC program for a full hands-free cycle.
Precise servo positioning on the two axes where accuracy matters most.
Enter feed, rotation and bend values per step. If you know your bend data from a drawing or an existing part, you enter the numbers and go.
The PLC touchscreen is straightforward enough for operators who aren't trained on CNC programming.
The videos below show Atlas BR machines in production. The automatic Atlas BRF shares the same frame and interchangeable tooling, with a fully automatic cycle.
The Atlas BRF shares its mechanical platform with the Atlas B and Atlas BR ranges—same heavy frame, DDT direct gear transmission, hydraulic clamp and pressure dies, mandrel extraction and wiper die block. Tooling is interchangeable across the whole Atlas family, so a shop running two Atlas machines keeps one tooling inventory instead of two.
It's popular in exhaust manufacturing, furniture production, HVAC, agricultural equipment and handrail fabrication—anywhere that wants automatic production without CNC. It also makes a smart second machine: run a CNC bender for complex prototypes, then move proven programs to the BRF for volume production.

Core electrical, motion and hydraulic components are selected from established global manufacturers, including Schneider Electric, Yaskawa, Festo, Atos, INA, SICK, Wittenstein and Rossi.

The Atlas BRF range covers tube diameters from Ø32 mm through Ø90 mm across six models. Every model runs three controlled axes and ships with full mandrel support, wiper die and pressure die as standard.
