Gemini Double-Head Tube Benders

A twin-head tube bender bends both ends of a symmetrical part in the same pass—cutting cycle times dramatically versus a conventional single-head machine.

Gemini product overview

Both ends in one pass—double-head bending since 2008

Once you use a twin-head bender, single-head feels slow.

Once you start using a double-head pipe bending machine, going back to a standard single-head setup feels painfully slow. A twin-head tube bender cuts cycle times dramatically compared with a conventional mandrel machine, because both ends of a symmetrical part are bent in the same pass instead of one after the other. That isn't a marketing claim—it's what our customers report from the shop floor.

DuralBend has built double-head pipe bending machines since 2008. The current Gemini series is the result of all those years of refinement.

Why go double head

Symmetrical parts, half the handling

Both ends in one pass

Symmetrical parts—chair frames, handlebars, exhaust components—are bent at both ends simultaneously. No flipping, no re-clamping, fewer errors.

Up to four tubes at once

The B38 and BF38 bend up to four small-diameter tubes in a single cycle instead of one at a time on a regular machine.

Monoblock frame

A rigid monoblock body keeps geometry stable across long, high-volume production runs.

Quick-change tooling

Quick-change tooling and an energy-saving mode keep the machine productive between jobs.

Multiple tubes per cycle

Up to Four Tubes in One Cycle

The Gemini B38 and BF38 are flexible on tube capacity. In a single cycle they handle one tube at Ø38 × 2 mm, two tubes at Ø25 × 1.5 mm, three tubes at Ø16 × 1.5 mm, or four tubes at Ø13 × 1.5 mm—simultaneously.

Four small-diameter bends in one cycle instead of one at a time: the arithmetic speaks for itself. The CNC BFR38 works with single tubes only, but brings full CNC-level control to the double-head format.

Three levels of automation

One Format, Three Machines

Each Gemini is aimed at a different production requirement—from a reliable hydraulic workhorse to a full 6-axis CNC twin head.

01

Gemini B38 — The Workhorse

Fully hydraulic with NC control and a monoblock frame; linear guide pressure die, tension arm, magnetic stopper and 7.5 kW power. A straightforward, seriously reliable entry point into twin-head bending.

02

Gemini BF38 — Semi-Automatic

Same monoblock body and hydraulic bending, plus 2-axis servo control and an inverter-controlled curvature axis for smoother, more repeatable bends. 11.5 kW.

03

Gemini BFR38 — Full CNC

Fully automatic, 6-axis servo with full CNC software—3D CAD import and simulation. Bends single tubes with CNC-level precision, a rare combination of full CNC and a double-head platform.

The case for twin-head

One Pass Instead of Two

A standard pipe bender works fine for a lot of jobs. But if you're making symmetrical parts—chair frames, handlebars, exhaust components—a double-head bender does it in one pass. No flipping, no re-clamping. Less handling means fewer errors and much faster cycle times.

For high-volume symmetrical bending there is really no argument against a twin-head machine. All three Gemini models come with quick-change tooling, energy-saving mode, a monoblock frame and multi-language touchscreen controls.
